Design Ideas

Mama had Jean Bremmer paint this old stove for me years ago. The painting is wonderful. But I'm a little tired of the blue on it. So I sent a picture to Ask Kari & Kijsa for some design ideas. We'll see what they think. I could just paint the blue parts black. That would make the other colors pop. Or maybe I will just keep it the way it is. I wonder if Jean Bremmer is still painting?

Mammy's Slip

Mammy's slip has hung in my bathroom for years. And years. I don't know why, but I love having it so much. The corsage was mama's suggestion.

Porch by Best Husband in the Whole World

Mark gave the porch a much-needed facelift. He works wonders with a paint brush. I love the black & white.

Live Happy 2

We made a "new" headboard out of Lori & Todd's former shutters and added
side tables with lamps. Lilla can't believe we did all this for her.

Happy New Year!

Mark is always making fun of me because I want to keep a good supply of butter--at least two pounds. I don't know why. You never know when you might need two pounds of butter.

He's been cleaning out our kitchen cabinet for the new year and we find that we have a good supply of several items. Including four bottles of chili powder, which might be close to two pounds.

Best Husband in the Whole World

Mark has made two adirondack chairs for me. They are beautiful and he did such a good job. Here's the first one painted, along with that little nest of flowers again.
