Coming Soon to a Garden Near You

Mark just bought me a new computer and I'm still learning how to use it. These are some shots we took last spring at the Missouri Botanical Garden.

Cousins

Lucy and Emily (Mark & Vicky's girls) with Betsy. I love this shot. They are, each and every one, beautiful.

Signs of Spring

It may be 9 degrees out there, but look what's happening--the sedum, larkspur, and hellebores know what to do.

Saturday Tulips

I love tulips all the way until they are gone, gone. Some flowers need to be composted the minute they pass prime, but tulips age really well.

Blogger Alert!

Rachel has posted new Betsy pictures on her blog! There she is in her great-grandma's crib. I meant to ask mama if granddaddy built that crib. He was Betsy's great-great grandfather.

Tuesday

Lots of rain last night to add to the melting snow. Everything is drenched. I bet the daffodil bulbs are so happy!

Frozen Fog

This was so pretty yesterday. Today is still foggy, but warmer. I even got to sit on the back porch for a few minutes this morning. Spring's coming!

Tulip Season

I am trying to learn how to upload our little video of Betsy, but so far haven't been able to get it to post. I'll keep working on it. In the meantime, you can find wonderful tulips now!
