September 2020 Report

Nine months into this very strange year of 2020.  I wonder if 2021 will be as strange??

Betsy at breakfast :)
I loved this memoir
A few fall touches showing up.  Getting ready for mom and sister  visit! :)
I walked a couple blocks over from work the other day and Studio on 6th was open.  So many businesses downtown have closed.  I'm  thankful there are still sweet places to shop.
That little Oceanna is a traveler!  Next year she'll be swimming in the ocean with her momma
Jennifer says she loves the phone.  Come to think of it, it's the favorite of most of us!

She's so adorable!
The flower shop is moving to new digs and we're all excited about filling up the new space :)

Notorious RBG left for the other side.  She hung on as long as she could.
I may look for a t-shirt with her picture on it.

It's August

My first pampered chef party :)
She looks so much like Isaac here!

Her great-grandma Peggy was happy to see her eating a tomato!  One day she'll be planting with her daddy.

Isaac is so proud of the sunflowers and watermelon!

                                                        Hanging out in Nevada City

Our Friday nights have been so much fun with Rachel and BK lately!

August 2020

My favorite coleus of all time, Alabama Sunset.  It reminds me of my UK days.  They had it planted everywhere on campus and it just glowed.  I heard that the horticulture department hybridized it there, but I couldn't find anything online to confirm.  But anyway, whoever came up with it found a winner.

Oceanna has some pearly whites these days and a big smile to show them off!
Betsy and Kyle and Rachel have been coming over for dinner lately, we're trying to catch up for all that stay-at-home virus time!  We're so glad we can all visit again.
I spent today at Petals & Co and gave the front flower pots a facelift for late summer.
It's time to start pulling out the fall silks.

More from July 2020

The front flowerpot, full of petunias and a mandevilla.  Lots of people have commented about how pretty it is.  We're late July now, so that means watering the containers everyday, feeding a couple times a week. I don't usually mind, it gives me something productive to do while I'm thinking about the virus and the economy and how school is ever going to happen this year.
Mark and Skye fishing.  This was a big catfish!
The best thing that has happened lately has been getting to visit with Betsy and Kyle again!
Our days get brightened when new pictures of Oceanna come through.  She has her daddy's blue eyes!
Jeff and PJ opened mama's pond and sent this sweet picture of her.  Her dress matches the ageratum :)

July 2020

I can't remember the last time we went to see fireworks on the 4th but we went out this year and it was beautiful.  CNN had a big drone!  We were sitting out in the distance on the left.
My pictures not nearly as good as CNN's!  The full moon was amazing.
That cute little Oceanna!
and my garden piggy collection, all from my sister :)
