Book Report

My new kindle isn't in this picture for some reason.  I got to spend a lot of time with it while we were on vacation!  Blame was my very favorite book of the week--Michelle Huneven tells the story of a woman  who must live with her guilt after she running over two people while she was drunk.  It was a great story.

Also read I'd Know You Anywhere by Laura Lippman.  It's a story about a woman who was abducted when she was a teenager and the man who was put on death row for the crime.  It was an interesting story and I was surprised by my judgments while reading it.    Overall a good read.

Flowers for Elvis was about a kooky crazy mixed-up family who owned a florist in Memphis during the Elvis years.  One of the characters sent a dozen roses to Elvis every day. . . Don't you miss Elvis?  Everytime I remember that he's gone, I always think that he was just gone too soon and wonder what he would have been doing these days. . .

Okay, that's my book report for now.  I'll show you a picture of my new kindle when I finish Freedom (Oprah's latest pick).  Have a great weekend!

I am almost finished with the I'd Know You Anywhere. I think she is leading me on and I am going to be mad that I didn't figure it out.
